The eyeglasses worn by H.H. Pope Benedict XVI.

According to the article «Ho fatto gli occhiali a Papa Ratzinger» by Paolo Mosca (published by Il Messaggero on 18 November 2007), the brothers Gladio and Walter Colantoni delivered the Pope's reading glasses on behalf of their company Interottica in Borgo Pio 85/86, 00193 Rome. Its lenses are told to be 4 dioptres strong.Their frames were manufactured by Cartier.

 

 

 

According to press reports, the sunglasses worn by the Holy Father belong to the series "Serengeti Eywear" produced by Bushnell Performance Optics Germany GmbH.
